Open-access case report of a 19-year-old woman with Kleefstra syndrome whose severe aggression and self-injury improved markedly after diagnosis and treatment of GI problems including reflux esophagitis, rectal inflammation, constipation, and megacolon. Highlights somatic causes of behavioral escalation in nonverbal KS patients.
